FAQ

Is there support for Analog inputs/Trackballs/Racing cabs?

Only digital input is supported - joysticks and buttons. It is purely a firmware issue, but it would be rather difficult to implement without access to the actual JVS hardware.

PS3 firmware 3.50 - does it still work or any other issues?

The JVS-PAC does not seem to be affected by this update.

What's new on the rev 1.6 board?

The only difference is a different layout of the JVS/USB headers - the software, features and operation is identical.

There are no mounting holes on the 1.5 board!

I decided to optimize for size, perhaps a bit too much, so there are no mounting holes on the 1.5 board.  Recommended mounting procedure is to use a pice of  double-sided tape on the bottom side of the board.

What is the difference between rev 1.0 and rev 1.5

The only difference is the size, the software, features and operation is identical

Can I get a tracking number, or alternate shipping?

Unfortunately no.  The cost of this is incredibly high from Norway, even for plain registered mail.  Also, there is a fair amount of logistics involved which is not desirable for a hobby project.  That being said, no units have been lost in the mail so far, and shipping times are generally 5 days or less (7 days to the US).

Can I remap the keys to something else than MAME keys?

The keys are hard-coded to MAME layout, and can not be changed.

Can I use this with XBOX360?

There is no support for xbox 360, as 3rd party peripherals for the 360 require a license and security chip from Microsoft.

Will there be Dreamcast support?

The JVS-PAC does not have the reqired hardware to support the Dreamcast.

Will there be PS2 support?

The JVS-PAC does not have the reqired hardware to support the PS2.
